2. Regulatory status
Compando is registered with FINMA as a non-tied intermediary (FINMA register number F01537536) and is subject to the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority.
Compando acts in the interest of the client and is legally and economically independent of insurance companies. There is no capital or voting-rights participation between the Compando.ch GmbH and insurance companies or vice versa.
3. Activity and cooperation
Compando brokers insurance, retirement provision and financial solutions for private individuals, self-employed persons and companies. For the provision of its services, Compando cooperates with licensed insurance companies, pension institutions and qualified partners.
Compando does not, as a matter of principle, receive insurance premiums on behalf of insurance companies.
4. Remuneration
Compando is remunerated by insurers, product partners or third-party providers with brokerage fees, commissions or other compensation for advisory, brokerage, administration and support services. These are included in the offered premiums. This does not give rise to any additional direct costs for the customer.
The remuneration lies within the following ranges:
- Health insurers (KVG/basic products): up to CHF 70 per insured person
- Health insurers (VVG/supplementary products): up to 16 monthly premiums per concluded product
- Motor vehicle insurance: up to 10 %
- Liability, legal protection, property, business interruption, building, transport, construction, technical and private customer insurance: up to 15 %
- Mandatory accident insurance (UVG): 3 to 6 %
- Daily sickness benefits insurance: 5 to 7 %
- BVG (occupational pension) solutions: 5 to 9 % of the risk and cost premium
- Life insurance and loss-of-earnings annuities: 2 to 5.5 %, plus ongoing portfolio compensation for support
- Mortgages and financing: 0.1 to 1 %
Cantonally mandatory insurance is in part not remunerated. The customer agrees, to the extent legally permissible, to waive the surrender of brokerage fees and commissions. Upon request, the remuneration actually received is disclosed.
5. Training and continuing education
All employees comply with their registration obligation and have the necessary expertise pursuant to Art. 43 ISA. They are obliged to undergo ongoing initial and continuing education.
6. Liability and complaints
The Compando.ch GmbH is liable for errors, negligence or incorrect information in connection with the brokerage activity. The legally required professional liability insurance exists.

7. Data protection
Personal data is processed for the fulfilment of the mandate, risk assessment and business handling in accordance with the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR, and may be forwarded to insurance companies, pension institutions, banks or qualified partners.
